Napa Valley Insurance Services History
Napa Valley Insurance Services began in 1943 when Franklin D. Roosevelt was President of the United States. Seminara & Company was founded. They were a family owned operation that specialized in Personal Insurance.
From the 1940’s through the 1970’s more folks joined the agency with a few name changes along the way, but we have always been a family owned agency.
In 1980, Barbara Holman joined the agency as an account manager and in 1997 bought out her fellow owners. In 1999, Barbara received approval to change the name to Napa Valley Insurance Services. The agency is a full service agency at this time providing protection for families and businesses in California and other states.
In mid 2007, Pam Hogin joined the agency to assist in the perpetuation of the agency and on January 1, 2008 Pam purchased the agency and it was re-named Napa Valley Insurance Services, LLC. Since 2008, the agency has expanded by adding additional Producers and Account Managers. We handle clients all around California and beyond.
For over 65 years, Napa Valley Insurance Services has been a part of Napa history. We are a full service independent insurance agency that has long time partnerships with financially sound insurance carriers. We have had a few of our insurance company partnerships for over 50 years. We provide insurance solutions for individuals, families, agriculture operations, and businesses alike.
Although, Napa Valley Insurance Services, LLC has gone through a few name changes since 1943, our same ideology applies today just as it did back then. We are still family owned and we care about our employees, clients, and our community.
